The Role(s) is Demanding and Diverse.

  • To hunt, develop and manage direct sales relationships with key customers. Influencing on their products and services specifiers & decision-makers, with the objective that those customers specify McCarthy Brands branded solutions on a long-term basis

 

  • The Sales Agent would follow up on either opportunity coming from internal leads or their own. And to engage with the customer to maximize the closure rate and win the opportunity, as well as to maintain a good and long-term relationship

Accountabilities and Key Task:

  • Serve primarily as a "hunter" to win new business

  • Primary liaison between the customer, channel partner and McCarthy Brands, the individual should establish solid working relationships internally with all applicable groups within all of the McCarthy Brands business

  • Managing all sales activities e.g., lead generation, contacts, opportunities, pipeline, meeting notes, etc.

  • Develop and execute an annual and quarterly business plan to ensure quota objectives are over-achieved by selling the McCarthy Brands portfolio of products to Small, Med, Large businesses. 

  • Understand the customer's strategies and goals to align McCarthy Brands products and services to build long term partnerships & to grow our business and build a consultant an approach to add value for our customers.

  • Expected to proactively develop sales forecasts, log all business opportunities via Sales platform (McCarthy Brands Sales Database) Maintain an opportunity pipeline for key business leveraging our MBSD

  • Identify which customers we should be working with, who are operating in countries (ANZ & Pacific Islands) and relevant businesses. Then develop plans to target these businesses for engagement with McCarthy Brands; Micro Targeting key vertical markets such as Retailer, Independence stores or distributors small and Home businesses.

  • Work with resellers partners / independently to attend end user meetings to be the subject expert and close the sales faster and reduce the sales cycle

  • Identification of relevant customer case studies

  • Monitor the market, maintaining an awareness of competitor activity and provide feedback to marketing/management.

  • He/she will be expected to spend at least 50% of their time customer-facing.

  • Develop and implement sales campaigns

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience or career pathway with studies

  • Excellent written, oral and customer presentation, influence, and negotiation skills utilising sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies

  • Proven ability to build, lead and execute strategy

  • Able to focus and execute in a changing environment with the ability to make things happen.

  • Able to travel approx. 50%

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Experience in establishing and nurturing commercial relationships and partnerships

  • Visiting clients to build and develop positive relationships

  • Developing a good understanding of our companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment.

  • Networking – proven networker who can manage, maintain and develop a wide range of contacts at all levels.

  • Self-Motivation - ability to work independently without day-to-day manager interaction

  • Entrepreneur - a person with great, innovating ideas that identify the need for reaching customers from different ways

  • Process and results-oriented – demonstrate a can-do attitude, highly self-motivated, consistently delivers the numbers. 

  • A strong deal closer with a track record of maintaining focus on closing large, complex partnership deals.

  • Ability to work autonomously towards targets

  • Organisation Skills - able to effectively manage multiple tasks and work within a pressurised environment showing attention to detail

  • Data Analysis - must be skilled at organizing and manipulating interpret and to discover useful information, informing conclusions and supporting decision-making.

  • Managing interactions with existing as well as past and potential customers.

  • Manage an opportunities pipeline to transform into a winning business.

Qualifications:

  • A pathway or a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related degree is preferred.

  • Being able to look after your mental, physical and emotional health, and having sustainable working norms.

  • Experience in a consumer product or brand marketing; prefer experience managing and growing a brand.

  • Strong brand-building and strategy development skills

  • Project management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong written, communication, and presentation skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong or sound creative skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence others and build relationships at all levels of an organization

  • Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Drivers licence and own vehicle

  • Rights to work and living in Australia and New Zealand

Remuneration:

  • A commission-only sales agent model where you can earn much more money and have more flexibility.

  • Uncapped commission $$$ ETO $55k-120k+

  • Opportunity to sell other unique products that open doors for you

  • Sales structure with unlimited support and ongoing training.

  • Short term contract that will lead to a permanent position
